VALUE BASED CARE HISTORY

Over the last 50 years, Revere Health has been working hard to improve the quality of healthcare in Utah while keeping costs to a minimum—a concept we call value-based care.

Revere Health began participating in federal healthcare quality programs in 2005 and became the first health system in Utah to become an accountable care organization (ACO) in 2012. ACOs are groups of physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers that work together to coordinate care.

On January 1, 2018, Revere Health became the first ACO in Utah to be accepted into the Next Generation ACO Model, an initiative designed by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.

THE NEXT 50 YEARS

As healthcare providers, we believe it is our responsibility to improve the quality of care patients receive, increase access to healthcare services and reduce unnecessary healthcare spending. Through value-based care, we are confident that we will continue to do just that for many years to come.
